“For years I've spent at least a half an hour twice a day preparing Hooligan's meals, as I have never really trusted even the "high end" kibble available to us at the feed stores. So I get out the frozen sweet potatoes, then the peas, then cut up fresh carrots, a dash of low fat cottage cheese, raw broccoli, add the powdered vitamins, flax seed, and then mix in chopped calf's liver or tuna to boost the protein that the kibble likely doesn't provide. Whew! It's a workout, but we love our Irish Setters like our kids....
